NIFDTB Academy is a skill training academy in Hosur, near Bangalore, running since 2012. The Institute of Cosmetic Science and the International Institute of Perfumery are the online wings of the academy. Through them we teach students across India to make cosmetics, skincare, perfumes and aroma products from scratch, and to build their own brand.
Our story
The academy began in Hosur with offline courses in beautician training and fashion designing. Today the campus is a 5,000 square feet building with five floors, labs and classrooms, built to National Skill Development Corporation norms. Our online courses grew from the same classrooms, so that working people and homemakers anywhere in India could learn at their own pace.
Our trainer
Our courses are created and taught by Rexy Margarate, Trainer and Managing Director of NIFDTB Academy. Rexy trained in perfumery and cosmetic science in Europe and is a central government certified trainer of trainers. The formulations we teach have been tested and used for over 12 years.
Our mission
We want every student to learn from a proper, certified academy, with structured lessons, tested formulas and a certificate that means something. We teach the real method of making a cosmetic product and a perfume compound from raw materials, not mixing ready-made bases.

How our courses work
Our courses are pre-recorded and delivered on our e-learning platform, which works as an app and on any laptop or PC. Students get lifetime access, a student community where every doubt is answered, and a diploma certificate on completion. Our weekly webinars are always live.
